Golden Keys to Jyotisha Vol 1

$14.99

This book is the first in a series of compiled articles published previously as individual small e-books. The first article in the volume is a detailed and comprehensive commentary on a key chapter in the “Bible” of Vedic Astrology, the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, concerning the effects of planets due to their house lordship. Planets become “functional benefics” or “functional malefics” based on the interpretative principles given there, and this enables students to determine which planets give superior raja yogas, or planetary combinations for elevating a person in life. These yogas are then clearly illustrated using the charts of thirty-five world famous personalities.
In the next article, entitled A Literary Love Affair, I share my researches about what astrological factors and planetary combinations in a birth chart indicate the destiny to be a famous author of literature. This question is examined from both the Parashari and Jaimini systems of chart analysis and the timing using the charts of twenty famous literary geniuses such as Jane Austen, Alexander Dumas, Jack London, Herman Hesse, George Bernard Shaw, and Oscar Wilde.
Maharaja Yoga examines a subset of raja yogas said in particular to make a person a “Great King.” Both the Parashari and Jaimini style yogas that can give this result are outlined and profusely illustrated. Students are additionally taught how to qualify them as to the magnitude of results they will bring, and in general how to qualify any of the many yogas given in the ancient texts, especially through the use of divisional charts.
The last article, entitled That Yogaj Combination, is about how special things can happen when a person runs either Venus-Rahu or Rahu-Venus periods in the Vimshottari dasa system. Often a very fated love affair comes into the person’s life, frequently leading to marriage or a marriage-like situation. Depending on the disposition of these two planets, it can also bring a defining moment in a person’s life, such as when Muhammad Ali first became the heavyweight boxing champion of the world, or British actress, Vivian Leigh, played the role of Scarlett O’Hara in the movie classic, Gone with the Wind. Additionally, the article teaches students the conditions under which the Moon’s nodes, Rahu and Ketu, will give a person great success and fame.
These 300 pages of engaging instructional material will greatly advance any students understanding of this sacred science.
